AAIR is a pilot program of New Moon Network, a sex worker led organization dedicated to advancing the rights and welfare of people with lived experience in the sex trade.

The website and branding for AAIR Directory was built and designed by A Great Idea.

AAIR Directory was launched on December 17th of 2023 to centralize resources and opportunities for advocates with lived experience in the sex trade and their allies. The website is intended to be a growing catalog of listings, all of which are reviewed by sex workers rights and/or survivor advocates. 

The people who created AAIR Directory did so to provide centralized information for sex worker and survivor advocates. Our goal was to create a tool that we wished we had when we began our journey in activism. We hope that this website is a useful tool for people wishing to learn, connect, and take action.

The focus of this website is for advocates in the USA, but the resources are globally sourced and may be useful to advocates in other countries. We welcome feedback on how this website could be more useful to our advocate peers around the world.

You can click “learn more” to read a description of the resource and learn about it. If you click “view resource” you will be taken to the file or webpage, wherever it is hosted. Some resources are hosted on AAIR Directory, but most are linked out to external sites. 

Do It – On this page you can search for events, jobs, funding opportunities, and more! You can click “learn more” to read a description of the resource and learn about it. If you click “view resource” you will be taken to the file or webpage, wherever it is hosted.

Teach It – This is a place where you can submit resources or opportunities to be listed on AAIR Directory. You can also send us feedback about the website, or even feedback about a specific resource. This website is constantly evolving, and your input is welcome.

Each resource on the “Learn It” page is reviewed by at least one sex worker rights advocate. Presently all reviewers are either staffers of New Moon Network or graduates of Spokes Hub. 

Each listing on the “Do It” page is reviewed by a New Moon Network staffer.

When someone sends us information through the “Teach It” form, the message is reviewed by a New Moon Network staffer. We strive to answer messages once a week.
